Walked Far to Find Calf.
There was an astonishing sequel a sale of a cow and her calf a days ago. At the Talycafn Mart, near Llanrwst, Wales, they were sold a Colywn Bay farmer, who disposed of the calf at the mart. The cow removed to Colwyn Bay, where was fastened up. During the night, however, she broke the chain that held her, and escaped out of the cowhouse. Next morning she was discos ered lying down by the mart door where she was separated from calf, having walked ten miles during the night.—London Answers.
