is Victim of Crash
Neville Lassiter of Arlington, n brother-in-law of Mrs. Claude Cook of Flint Hill, was one of the fgjir victims of 'the plane crash which occurred Monday, when a Capital Airline’s plane swerved from.« radar beam and crashed into, the fog-locked Potomac, killing four and injuring 19.
Mr. Lassiter is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lassiter of Portsmouth, and his wife, the former Miss Elizabeth Beff of Norfolk, • who, with her husband, has visited the Claude Cook family in Flint Hill quite frequently.
Claude Cook and Robert Cook of Flint Hill accompanied Mrs. i Claude Cook to the Neville Las. aite^ Jiome jn Arlington Tuesday.
Funeral services will be held ;; today mt ' Fbrir Afyer Chajftf hi 11:30 this mornipg, with interment* in Arlington cemetery. Mr. Lassiter held a government position in Washington, D. C.
Missionary Circle
The December meeting of the Julia Hagood Missionary Circle of Flint Hill Baptist church met Friday, December 9, with Mrs. Mary G. Edmonds. Plans were made to send a box of gifts to aome needy family of, the community. *
Following the business meeting, a social hour_was enjoyed and the members exchanged Christmas gifts; The next meeting wiH be January 6 at 7:10 in the tame of Mrs,: Mi B. Sltger.
