Boy Scouts Organization
Will Be January 11
The organization meeting of a Boy Scout troop wilt be held in Washington High School auditorium on January 11, at which time all boys of scouting age are urged to be .present.
The meeting held iFriday, December 9, had a good representation of eligible bo^s present with their parents.
M. L. Johnson, assistant national director of rural scouting, and John L. Moore, local field executive, spoke on the advantages of scouting and the obligations of parents to boys. A temporary control committee was appointed to set up all ground work and also o appoint a/pejtmanent county committee^Thpse appointed to serve were Dr C. Link, Rev, A. Pauli Thompson, W. H. Lyne; L. J. Turner, T. C. Lea, Allen Johnson, George H. Davis, Jr., and Dr. W. G* Pendleton.
