Christening at Emmanuel

Ob Sunday, September 23, at Emmanuel. Episcopal church in Sperryville a beautiful baptismal service followed the regular morning service. Dr. W. G. Pendleton baptised Albert Waverly Yowell, infant-eon of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Yowell, on his first birthday anniversary.

A family- dinner-party was entertained by the parents at their home in the F. T. Valley. Yhe guests were Mrs. Kirkland (greatgrandmother) , Mrs. Longacre (grandmother), Mr. and Mrs. Jack Yowell, Mrs. Eurie and her small daughter. . " - , '

The paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Yowell, had as •week-end guest, Eduardo' Belort of Colombia and Pan ■ American Union, who attended the christening with the family.

A sweet-voiced quartet of girls sang; namely, Barbara Brown, Barbara Black, Joan Brown, and Marjorie Dodson. The full choir was not in attendance. —s M. E. Hite.
