4-H Winners Attend
Electrical Congress
Melvin Williams of Forest Grove and Etta Campbell of Huntly and Roy Heltzel, assistant county agent, attended state electric congress held in Richmond, September 2-4. Melvin and Etta were selected the county winners in the 4-H project Farm and Home Electric. The award for this achievement was the expense paid trip to Richmond.
Etta Campbell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Campbell of Huntly. In her four years of club work Etta has completed 10 4-H projects. Etta especially likes the food preparation projects.
Melvin Williams lives with Miss Mary Bruce of Forest Grove. In the past six years of 4-H work Melvin has completed 8 projects. Most of his projects have been livestock.. Miss Mary Bruce says his knowledge of electricity, .however, has been very useful on the farm.
