Mr. and Mrs. Tanner spent Sunday with their daughter, Mrs. Morgan Johnston and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bailey, Neva Merrill and Stephen of Ohio spent the week end holiday with the Merrills. Mrs. Bailey has just completed special study course at Marietta College, Ohio.
Mr. and Mrs. William Groves and Mr and Mrs. Billy Wharton were week-end guests of Mrs. Gilbert Wharton and Gibson Wharton.
Mrs. George Payne and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Payne were Sunday visitors of Mrs. Payne’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins of Tmbervlle.
Miss Elose Estes spent a few days • last week in Boston, Massachusetts and returned with Sgt. George E. Terry, who had just returned from Korea and received his discharge after 2 years of overseas duty.
Mrs. M. C. Corder was taken to Front Royal hospital last Tuesday following a stroke. She is reported o lie improving slowly.
A/2c Clayton C. Wood of Jackson, Mississippi spent the week end with A/3c Everett J. Estes, who has been spending a 30-day leave with his mother, Mrs. Bertha M*. Brock. A/2c Wood and A/3c Estes left Wednesday for Camp Kilmer, N. J. where they boiarded a plane to Germany. A/3c Estes has beeiif assigned A.P. duty on
