Saturday afternoon, September 5, Miss Eloise Hamilton Estes became the bride of Sgt. George Edward Terry. The ceremony was performed in the Flint Hill Methodist church by the Rev. J. David Menchhofer. Only relatives and close friends were present. After the reception at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Bertha M. Brock, the couple left for a honeymoon trip through the New England States and Canada.
Sgt. Terry has just returned from 2 years duty in Korea. Miss Estes has a position with the Bank of Richmond.
Price-Elliott
St. Joseph’s Church, Washington, D. C. was the setting Saturday afternoon of the wedding of Miss Helen Frances Eliott, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold King Elliott of Wnchester, Mass, and Clarence Miller Price, son of Mrs. John Wesley Price and the late Mr. Price of Washington, Virginia.
Father J. Edward Mallay officiated at the three o'clock cermony. The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Harold King Elliott, Jr., wore a gown of white lace over candlelight satin, waltz length. Her fingertip veil of silk illusion fell from a satin crown trimmed with seed pearls. She carried a white orchid on a prayerbook.
Mrs. Brian J. Hessler of Chevy Chase, Md., was matron of honor. Her dress was nile green nylpn tule over satin with matching accessories and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses. k
The bridegroom had as his best man, his brother, Dan Strother Price, of Front Royal.
