Can You Believe?

Rev. H. G. Thach

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing ye shall receive.” Matt. 21:22. s

With all the books on prayer, all ' the sermons .delivered on prayer, and all the advice we have been given to pray, do we, as a people, believe in prayer ?

Can you believe it possible for God to answer prayer without altering His own natural and moral laws? This seems to be a very real problem to many people today who are seeking to learn how to have their strength renewed for the facing of their responsibilities in the right manner. Some over-come this problem by coming to realize prayer is ■communion. When one communes with another they converse privately. Therefore, many are understanding through their private communion with God that it is His desire to help them achieve that which they ask for. In His private conversation with those who overcome the problem of unbelief He imparts His purpose and spirit. Can you believe that God is waiting for you enter into a pri- vaie conversation with Him in regards to your inability to believe in prayer ?
