The candlelight , service scheduled for last Sunday night will be held this Sunday, November 29 at 8 o’clock. The postponement is due to the fact of not having lights and to the bad weather.
Rev. Roosevelt Mclqtyre, pastor of Meridian Hill Baptist Church, Washington, D. C. and his entire congregation will render services at First Baptist Church, Washington, Va., Friday, November 27 at 8 p.m. His three choirs will feature negro spirituals and gospel songs. Mrs. McIntyre, a national negro singer, will be featured in special solos. Everyone is welcome to attend the service. There is no charge. Rev R. C. Davis, pastor.
The Missionary Circle of the Shiloh Baptist Church met Sunday night.
The Hopewell Baptist Missionary Circle will meet in the home of Mrs. Lottie Aylor on Wednesday., November 25 at 3 p.m. All members are urged to be present.

A. program will be-held November 30 at 8 p.m. A panel discussion, “How Can Parents Show Their Interest in their Schools?” To be discussed by: Mrs. Maude Williams, Mrs. Estelle Dennis Mr. Lewis Aylor (Russ), Mr. C. C. Lewis. All parents and friends are invited. The subject was suggested by the upper grade room mother.
