Circuit Court —
Circuit Court convened Tuesday morning, July 20 with Judge Hamilton Hass presiding for Judge Rayner Snead, hearing the lone case of Thomas H. Utz, plantiff against J. W. Critzer, committee of George Settle, Defendant.
The case was heard and decided by a jury with the verdict returned by the jury for the plantiff in the sum of $768.
The plantiff was represented by J. W. Fletcher and the defendant by Commonwealth Attorney, William F. Moffett.
4-H News From Reager Club
The Reager 4-H club met in the home of Mrs. Bradley Williams on July 8. A business meeting was held and a demonstration on how to prepare pineapple salad, was given by Shelby Williams. They practiced setting the table correctly and discussed table manners.
Delicious refreshments were served. The next meeting will be in the home of Mrs. Bradley Williams in July 22 at 2:30 p.m.
