The Joint Vacation Bible School held at Shiloh, Woodville, held its commencement exercises Friday, July 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Lucy Childs, the consultant and Miss Edwards of Richmond conducted the services.
Certificates were awarded oh special bases—at least eight days out of the ten. 37 certificates were awarded.
Gifts were presented tcr^Miss Edwards from the V.B.S. by Miss Rector and Miss Arlene Wallace.

Miss Edwards and Miss Arlene Carter presented to Mrs. Childs, the consultant, a beautiful basket of red and pink roses, on behalf of the V.B.S. faculty and pupils. These flowers were made by Mrs. Edwards of Richmond.
The Handmark was placed on exhibit among the items made each girl and boy learned how to make beautiful roses. Offering plates were made. Beautiful souvenir „were made, beautiful vases, fans, and wallpaper hats.
