Mrs. ^red W. Schaefer was in Charlottesville Friday with her daughter, Susan, who goes to University Hospital for tests following a severe case of asthma, at her home here several weeks ago. Susan’s condition is greatly im-^ proved.

Mrs. Carroll Menefee, who has been in Oklahoma and Texas for an indefinite stay with her son and daughter-in-law, tJarroll Menefee Jr. and Mrs. Menefee, returned to her home in town Monday.

Mrs. Mary G. Thornhill of Glasgow and her house guest, Mrs. John Aline of Michigan were guests last week at Rock Villa, the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and son of Leesburg were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown. Lee Thornton III accompanied them home for a visit.
