Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams of Chester Gap have announced die engagement of their daughter, Marcelle, to Dr. Donald H. McNeil, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs, Donald H. McNeil, Sr., of Richmond.
Miss Williams u a graduate of Winchester Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She is presently employed on the nursing staff there. j
Dr. McNeil is a graduate of University of Richmond and Medical School of Medicine. He will finish his internship at Winchester Memorial Hospital iii June. The wedding will take place it July- ! i
MISSIONARY SOCIETY ENTERTAINED ON 23rd : The Flint Hill Society of Chdetain Service met Thursday in the home of Mrs. Barbara Gentry, to discuss the topic of the month: “Missions In Africa."
Among those present were Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. J. P. Cook, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr„-Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. Robert Clatterbuck, Mrs. Harold Thach, Mrs. W«H Deavers, Mrs. Frank Cary, Mrs. Carson Lillard and Miss Mary Hollands i
Plans were formulated tor a mission, study class to be led by the Rev. H. G. Thach.
At the conclusion of the program delicious refreshments were served, the occasion being Mrs. Gentry’s birthday. j ' .
