FLINT HILL P.-T. A. GIVES SCHOOL MONEY t TO BUY EQUIPMENT The Flint Hill P.-T, A. had a special meeting Friday evening. The president, Mrs. Paul Miller, . conducted the meeting. A motion was made and carried to give the school a donation. It will be used to purchase equipment.
It was decided to put on a membership drive in .the latter part of September. . Mrs. Mr. R. Brad~ ford, Jr. was fcppointed membership chairman. A meeting of the executive committee was set for September 16.

Schaefer, Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs. Frankie Menefee, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. Kitty Strother Mason, Mrs., C. H. H. Branch, Mrs. Mary Botts Quaintance, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Mrs. P. Lee Thornton, Mr*~ R. E. Thompsen, Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mrs. L. J. Kilby, Mrs. I. R. Kilby, Mrs. Charles H, Estes, Mrs. W. L. Browning, Miss Louise O’Bannon and Mrs. Aubrey Keyser. Men playing besides Mr. Winfrey were Aubrey Keyser, Charles Estes, and T. J. Pillar. Mrs. Winfrey was assisted in serving refreshments by Miss Peggy Pillar.

The Castleton Home Demonstration Club held its annual pic-. ■ nic Friday, August 26 on the Ray Cannon farm near the lake. Over • 100 members and friends were, present to enjoy the swimming, fishing and games as well as the delicious picnic lunch. _
