Christmas Parade
in Culpeper
Saturday Evening
The Retail Merchants Association of Culpeper invites all Rappahannock citizens to attend the bis Christmas Parade, which marks the opening of the Christmas shopping season in Culpeper, Saturday afternoon, December 3.
The parade will begin at 2 p.m. Forming on Piedmont Street, it will proceed up Main Street to Davis, down Davis Street to East Street, down East Street to Culpeper Street, up Culpeper Street to Main Street and down Main Street to Clore, Funeral Home, breaking up on the left side of Main Street.
Fire Departments, bands ' floats will participate in the rade. Several county fire companies are planning to be in the line of march. .

Convention
E. M. Jones is attending the 31st annual convention of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation this week at the John Marshall
\ Hotel in Richmond. ]
The purpose of the convention is to adopt resolutions that will represent the legislative program of action for the Farm Burdau during the next 12 months. One of the chief resolutions be considered will be a soil fertility bank plan. Others to be considered are the sales tax proposal, water rights, and segregation.1;
