Kitchen Storage.
Mrs. Paul Thompson was hostess for Sperryville H. D. Club Tuesday night. Mrs. Paul Nichols, home management leader, gave the demonstration on “Plan-^ ning Your Kitchen Storage.”.
Begin Early to Make Preparation For Christmas ... 1. Bake fruit cakes and plum puddings early. 2. Plan your Christmas dinner and your special affairs early. Keep your entertainment simple. Prepare everything possible in advance. Be rested so you can enjoy the fun, too.
3. If you have a freezer, bake Christmas breads and cookies in November and early December and freeze them. You may make many vegetable dishes ahead also and freeze them until the big day. Sweet potatoes are especially good this way.
4. Keep the sweets simple and nutritious. Serve fruits often. Too much rich food' and concentrated sweets often results in colds and indigestion. Well balanced holiday meals keep everyone feeling good to enjoy the activities. 5. Make rule for the children sweets eaten pnly at the end of meals. *
6. Plan food gifts you can make in advance.
