In addition to planning ror me bake sale, the Washington Auxiliary in their March meeting, held Monday night in the firehouse, dicussed having a Round Dance and other money making projects. Mrs. B. R. Cox turned in $5.00 which she had made by sending in recipes to the Pyrofax Gas Co. contest. The following members will sponsor a Round Dance as their money making project: Mrs. A. M. Hickman (chairman of the Dance committee), Mrs. Charlie Jenkins, Mrs. Carson Anderson, Miss Mary Miller Wood and Mrs. Bruce Bowie. Mrs. Cox the Auxiliary president, will assist in this project.
Mrs. Charlie Jenkins brought word from the Chief of the Fire . Company, Charlie Jenkins, that the firemen would appreciate the help of the auxiliary in selling the tickets for the giving away of the car at the August carnival. The Auxiliary voted tg help, and five members agreed to take books. (Mrs. Anderson already had taken 10 books).
