The March term of Circuit Court convened in Washington, Monday, March 12 with the Honorable Rayner V. Snead presiding.
Among the cases .under consideration were the following: Two appeal cases, from the Trial Justice Court, against Edward Brown ' Hudson. On plea of guilty, he was fined $20.00 and costs, for each count. ,
Two appeal cases against Orville Weakley .On plea of guilty, Weakley Was fined $50 and costs on one count and $25 on thesecf ond count.
Lee Shifflett, ah appeal case, on plea of guilty, was fined $25 and costs.
The case of the Commonwealth * versus John R. Miller was set for Thursday, March 15. Three indictments were returned by the Grand Jury, two against Thomas - A. Priest, for a felony and one against Raymond Foster, for a felony. These cases will be tried at a later date during the March term of the Court.
