Corporal Tom Swindler of Fort Knox, Ky., who is spending a leave with his parents,, Mr. and Mrs. Russell B. Swindler in Brentwood, Md., was an overnight guest on Tuesday of his grandmother Mrs. O. B. Swindler and aunt Miss Barbara Swindler. Mrs. Annie Y. Bruce who is spending the winter months in the Swindler home accompanied her grandson to Sperryville and was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson for the day, and an overnight guest of her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bruce at Jackson Hill. They returned to Brents Wood Wednesday.
Mrs. Netus Brown, who was called to Hyattsville, Md., last week by the illness of her mother Mrs. Monia Dodson, who is visiting Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Dodson, has returned to her home here.
