Wool growers are reminded to get their application for payments under the wool program in the mail before May 1, 1956, if they want to get their incentive payment this year. The reminder comes from H. S. Barksdale, Chairman of the Rappahannock Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Committee. v

Card Party Benefit Red Cross
Thursday, April 5th
To raise funds for the County Red Cross Drive, a Card Party will be held Thursday night, April 5 in the Sperryville School Auditorium at 8 o’clock.
Bridge, canasta, setback or any other card games may be playfed. Players are requested to bring their own cards. Refreshments will be served. Admission is 50c per person, $2.00 per table. Call Sperryville 2141 between 9 and 3:30 for reservations.
With a total of $517 turned in by the county workers, the goal of $1300 for this year’s drive, is far over the horizon. Entertain your friends and help a worthy organization at the same time, by phoning in your reservations now. «
