Mrs. W. A. Gentry attended the 7th district meeting of National Association of Postmasters, Virginia chapter in Harrisonburg, Saturday. She and Miss Hilda Brown of Boston were guests at a dinner given for the officers of the district and officials of the Post Office Department, Mr. J. K. Sullivan and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Green, Mr. Charles Shuler of Elkton, president of the Virginia chapter, and Mr* Caroll Beach of Luray, chairman of die 7th district, were hosts at the dinner, at the Belle Meade restaurant near Harrisonburg. *

Mrs. W. M. Fletcher waa in Washington, D. C. Wednesday to attend the funeral services of Mrs. Jennie Yates, a highly respected citizen of Rappahannock, who died Friday March 16th. She had been making her home in the District for over ten years. ington, D. C. was a guest over week end of her parents, Mr. I Mrs. L. J. Yowell at their home near Peola Mills.
