I. on Monday after spending the • spring vacation here with their parents. Mrs. John A. Keyser and Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Brooks at Lee Highway Hotel. John Turner, who has been spending the spring vacation here with his mother, Mrs. Lewis Turner returned to Duke University on Monday. The Women’s Missionary Society will hold its April meeting at the home of Mrs. Gilbert Updike on Tuesday April 3 at 3:00 p. m. Mrs. J. Frank Jones president is especially anxious for a full attendance.
Mrs. William A. Buntin and daughter, Nancy were luncheon guests on Sunday of the Rev. and Mrs. John R. Frizzell at the Rectory.
John M. Caskie, who has been visiting his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon E. Liridenblad of Alexandria, arrived Sunday for an extended visit with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Miller at “Mt. Prospect".
Mrs. R. L. Cheatham and son, “Bucksie”” who have been spending the winter in Port Washington,N. Y. where “Bucksie” is attending school, are at "Mountain Green” for a stay of two weeks. Mrs. L. V. Merrill was a guest at "Mountain Green” on Sunday.
