T/Sgt. and Mrs. Lee Swindler Jr. arrived on Saturday for a two weeks visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler Sr, and Mr. and Mrs. Netus Brown. T/Sgt. Swindler has been attending school in St, Louis, Mo. * for the past eight weeks, at the conclusion of their stay here they will return to Westover, Mass.
Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Devers and family were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. Devers’ mother, Mrs. Ida Devers in Flint Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor spent Tuesday in Richmond visiting their son Joe Henry Aylor at McGuire Hospital whose ,condition is slightly improved. He is now able to be put in a chair for a while each day.
Sgt. Thomas Swindler of Fort Knox Tenn. who is spending a leave at his home in Brentwood, Md. was a guests on Monday of Mr. and Mrs. A. Lee Swindler to meet his cousin T/Sgt. Lee and Mrs. Swindler.
Elder J. Harvey Daily conducted services at the Primitive Baptist Church in Upperville on Sunday in the absence of the pastor Elder Albert Sudduth who is confined to his home by illness. His sister-in-law, Mrs. Maude Dempsey who is with Mrs. Daily during her illness accompanied Elder
