Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily and their house guest Mrs. Maude Dempsey were in Martinsburg, W. Va. for the regular meeting at the Primitive Baptist Church and were over night guests on Saturday of Elder D a i 1 y’s brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Barr.
Mr. and Mis. George Woodward are receiving congratulations on the birth of a son, Thomas W. on Thursday night at Warren Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Woodward who were former residents of Sperryville, have •been living in Winchester for several years, moved recently to an apartment in the home of Mrs. Agnes Jenkins.
Mr. and Mrs. George "Kitty” Brown entertained Mr. and Mrs. Jack Piehler at dinner on Friday night at the Methodist dinner, in Washington.
Miss Nettie Bontz has arrived at the home of the. Misses Hitt for a visit and to be with Miss Beulah Hitt who is recovering from an illness, while Miss Ebb% Hitt, is in New York. Rev. A. D. Goodson and Miss Ebba Hitt motored to Gaithersburg on Wednesday for Miss Boritz.
