Washington News Notes
Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Scudere and their house guests, Mrs. Alice Partlow Curtis and Miss Pauline Sterling visited Monticello and the University of Virginia on Tuesday. Friday, Mrs. Curtis and Miss Sterling motored to Williamsburg returning to the Scudere home on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Powers and son, Bill were guests over the weekend of Mrs. Powers' brotherin-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Tiahart of Glen Bumie, Maryland.
Mrs. John R. DeBergh and Mrs. Jan Hunt of Culpeper, were were in Washington, D. C. Friday and were dinner guests of Mrs. DeBergh’s parents Col. and Mrs. E. N. Raley:
