Buffet Dinner

Over 200 persons attended the buffet supper served at the Fire House Friday evening by the Ladies of the ^Washington Methodist Church.
Good food and good will were there in abundance in spite of the fact that the hall was small, many children were there, and that it rained, there was no confusion, and no waiting. Everyone seetned to be enjoying the occasion and the ladies cleared $157.
BAKE SALE—From pagTl tributing to the Bake Sale: this Saturday. (Not that men can’t cook—one man has already promised a couple doten doughnuts.)
Pies, cakes, cookies, candy, eggs, breads, jellies—-anything of this nature is welcome. If you can give, phone Jack Barber at Washington 2851, or just bring your contribution to the Rescue Squad Building between 9:30 and 10:00 Saturday morning. Be sure to come prepared to'buy too! If you would likfc to give something and can not bring it yourself, phone 2851 or contact a member of the Rescue Squad for transportation.

A Round Dance will be held Friday night, April IS in the Sperryville Auditorium, benefit of the Rappahannock Chiefs Baseball team. Music will be by the Top Hats, a 10-piece orchestra from Harrisonburg.
