A meeting was held last Wed* nesday evening at Greeley’s Store for the purpose of organizing a Cub Scout Pack and ai Boy Scout Troop. Thirty-five boys and parents attended the meeting presided over by Tom Gfibson of Front Royal. Mr. Gibson gave a very interesting talk-onl the meaning and purpose Of Scouting, at die conclusion of which the following boys signed up to be charter members: Lewin Williams, Led Williams Timmy Williams, Bobby Williams, Franklin Campbell, El wood Wines, Ollie Wines, Sonny Williams, Tommy Williams, Kenney Williams, Earl Williams, Bruce Williams and Harold Campbell. A number of pther boys ufho were unable to attend have indicated a desire to join and will undoubtedly do so at the next meeting. Gilbert Smith was elected Scout Master and Herman Williams his assistant, 'fhe members of the Chester Gap Citizen’s Association which is sponsoring the movement are Garfield jWilliams, Bradley Williams, Albert Wines, Herman Williams, Golden Sealock and Merritt Greeley. [The next meeting will be held next Tuesday evening at the home of Gilbert Smith and those interested are urged to attend.
