Mr*. J. R. Grubs of Front Royal and Mrs. Rosa Burton. Other guests in the home on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. George Hamaker of Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. David Stember and Jack Wallace, who have been visiting relatives of Mrs. Stember in the county have returned to New York.

Edward E. Clopton of Baltimore was a supper guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones. On Monday Dr. A. B. Grove of Winchester was a guest in the Jones’ home.

Dickie Walker, who has been at Fort Ord, Calif, since a year and three months service in Europe, has been transferred to Camp Roberts California.

Mrs. E. M. Jones, Carolyn Gates Turner, Becky Jones, Dorothy Taylor Davis, Segar and Ned Moffett Jones and Sammie Snead enjoyed a picnic Friday at Schulers Park near Luray.
