Bible School Opens
At Baptist Church
The Vacation Bible School opened Monday, June 18th in the Educational Building of the Baptist Church with 58 in, attendance.
The school is being sponsored by the Baptist, Methodist and Episcopal Churches of the community. Students from four to sixteen are enrolled in the well, graded
Rowzie and Miss Becky Jones have the pre-school group from 4 to 5.
Mrs. J. Frank‘Jones and Mrs. L. J. Turner have the primary grade children, 6 to 8.
The juniors, 9 to 12 have Mrs. Morgan Johnston and Mrs. Sarah Frizzell as teachers and the Rev. John D. Divers, the Rev. A. D. Goodson, and the Rev. John R. Frizzefl, have the intermediate classes, pupils from 13 to 16.
The music, which has become such an important part of - all school activities, is in charge of • Miss Millie Sisk and Miss Neville Wood.
The. refreshments, which the children say, (a number were interviewed!) is also most important, is in the capable hands of Mrs. James Lillard assisted by t Mrs. Jack Petty.
