Cheifs Plan Carnival
Sept. 17th to 22nd
The Rappahannock Chiefs are making plans for one of their best carnivals to date, with rides, shows games and plenty of prizes.
the grounds so you can come for supper, have a good time and have a “snack” before going home.
V'ou and all of your family will enjoy it.
The fun will begin Monday night September 17th and will continue through the week.
Good weather has been predicted so make your plans to come.
TOWN COUNCIL TO MEET TUESDAY SEPE. 11th
The Washington Town Counciil will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 11th.
The tentative budget that was considered at a Special Town meeting will be passed upon.
The Council advertised this meeting and invited the citizens of the community to be present and express their views.
Only members of the council attended.
New Donations to Castleton Community Fire Co. are: Mr. and Mrs. Vernon R. Pettie, Floyd Hitt, E. C. Estes, Culpeper Auto Parts, H. R. Winfrey, D. C. Weaver, and Eugene Henderson, one more battery has been donated by Floyd Hitt.
