The Home Demonstration Club held its September meeting on Tuesday at the Court House. The attendance was good. The president, Mrs. Jessie M, Row?ie presided and Mrs. Gilbert Updike and Mrs. H. J. Racer assisted on the program. ' The club calendar was discussed and a demonstration on care of the hair and hair styling was given.

Mr. Luther Jenkins spent last week visiting Mr. and: Mrs. Charlie Jenkins of Boyce also other children in Alexandria.
Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Deal and family spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. George Deal.
Sgt. Irvin White of Fort Benning, Ga., is spending a furlough here with his parents.
