Miss Catherine Peery, rural arts specialist of V. P. I., Blacksburg, will be in Flint Hill #to conduct a meeting to discuss ways and means of opening a market for home made articles, Wednesday, January 16. This meeting, open to all, will be held in the Fire Hall, beginning at 10:30 a,m. and _ will close at abou 3 :00 pm.
Miss Peery will give a demon- V stration on articles that can be made from native!materials in the afternoon. So many people have asked about ways of making money at home from readily available materials, to be sold to tourists and others, that this meeting was planned to give this information as a public service. It is being sponsored by county Home Demonstration Clubs. All those interested in attending the meeting areinvited, and should bring a sandwich, as lunch will not be served. It is hoped that a large group will take advantage of this opportunity to add to family income and nive expression to talents, as well, as provide recreation at little expense. '. j
