Judge and Mrs. R^V. Snead and their four children returned to their home here on Friday, after a visit of two weeks to relatives in Kansas City. • ■

Mr. and Mis. Raymond Wire of Washington, D. C., and Rappahannock, arrived Friday to spend a few days at “The Shade.”

Mrs. john A Keyser. Mrs. J. E. Keyser were in Culpeper Thursday for the day. They were guests in the afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Brooks. Mr. Brooks', who was slightly injured recently in an automobile accident, is out again and feeling fine.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff and family spent Sunday with Mrs. Huff’s mother, Mrs. Bertha Lillard of Flint Hill.

Robert M. Menef^e, Jr., of Arlington, Va.. was a guest over the week-end of his father, R. M. Menefee, Sr.
