For several years many people in Rappahannock hvae been concious of the need of a dentist in the county. During this school year die need has grown greater for it has been most difficult to find a ren| tist who could give appointments j to school chidren. As you know the practice has been to have a school bus take a load of children weekly to Culpeper to get their work donb. Last year was the first year this service had not been offered school children. Also it was hoped when children reached high school age, they could get a dental appoint* ment ion their own. It is now impossible to get dental appointments for a group of children of any age at any one time.At the beginning of the 1955-56 session at RappaHhnnock High School there were : 325 children, including those . in grades with dental defects. At the
| end of the year but 40 children had their dental defects corrected. What are the conditions in other schools of the county?
