Needless to say Randall Updike is proud of this sow which will farrow next month. Mr. Clopton was so struck with the general appearance of Randall’s sow and the uniformity of her “first born” he couldn’t resist taking this picture for which we are indebted.
Randall turned in a nice gilt pig from this litter, as did the other boys enrolled in 1955-56, to pay for the gilts placed with hm. Thiis gilt was drawn by Mike Vest, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Vest of Flint Hill. 1
Mike too is proud of his gilt and incidently got the top initial scoring on his management, feeding, housing and record keeping job for the first six months of
