Work Conference

The Work Conference of the Warren-Rappahannock Sc hop l Division was held in the Warren County High School on Saturday February 2nd with almost a 100% attendance.

Panel discussions with parents, teachers, students, ministers and representatives of industry taking part was an interesting part of the program.

Dr. John B. Whitelaw, cheif for Teacher Education. United States Office of Education,' Washington, D. C. was quest speaker. Topic: “Professional Relationships.”

There were 15 discussion groups meeting separately. Teachers from. Rappahannock leading group discussions were Mrs. Mary Hart Winfrey. Mrs. Mare Quaintance, Mrs. Fisher Buford .and Mrs. A.. S. Kevser.

Group leader made reports and recommendations to the conference.

Cub Scout Pack has been organized in the Rixeyville,, Jefferasonton and Amissville areas. Known as Pack 123 of the Shenandoah Area Council, Two Rivers District, the newly formed unit is under the sponsorship of the Little Fork Methodist Charge.
