the same club. Paula Miller, presile dent of the Honor Club, led the ceremony for initiation, assisted by ; i Peachy Lyne. Others who assisted in the candlelight service were j Walter B. Kilby, Randall Updike, ! Dolly Smith. Glen Updike told of requirements to be an All Star.
The members of 4-H clubs who ! have done outstanding work are chosen to be members of the honor I club each year. All Stars are also picked from its membership. Other j Honor Club members present at the banquet were Mrs. G. W. Powers, Rap Owings, Mrs. W. A. Gentry, Mrs. Frank Cary, Eddie Sutphin, Jackie Sisk, Jimmy Yates. The next meeting will be a business meeting in June.

Paintings
On Saturday, May 18th, 9 a.m. |to 4:30 p.m., Miss Frances P. Gaines, Culpeper, Virginia, will iexhibit with many other artist, seven water-colors 16”x20” and seven oil paintings 25”x30”. Many of which are local Virginia landjscapes, at Seven Comers Shopping Center, Fairfax Co.. Virginia, in the Spring Art Festival. Among which is a water-color of “Ivy Cliffs”, the home of Gen. Edmund Pendleton Gaines, built in 1733 and now owned by Mr and Mrs. John Randolph DeBergh.

House of Delegates
The Honorable Tom Frost, incumbent member of the House of Delegates, representing Fauquier and Rappahannock Counties, fhis being the 29th legislative district, was the only person to file in the Democratic Primary within the time required by law, and therefore has been declared the nominee of the Democratic. Party for this office, subject to the General Election in November, 1957. ! Mr. Frost states that he greatly appreciates the support and confidence of the public in the past^ and will continue to act for the good of his state and district to t|ie best of his ability in the future ■ if reelected in November.
