• 'Make your plans so that you will be sure to attend the James'towji Committee’s July project for Rappahannock Countv—A TOUR OF CABINS AND OLD HOMES. This tour will be held on July 28th, 29th and 30th from 10 aim. until 5 p.m.

The following homes will he on display with hostesses at each place to show you around:

YVakefield District—Hillsboro, present owner. Col. Earl E. Holmes. j -

Jackson District—undecided at this time.

Hampton Disthict—Mt. Green present owner, Mrs. Marietta L. Cheatham.

Piedmont District—Thornton Hill, home of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher. Rosewood, present owners. Mr. and M™- Charles H. Estes. Apple Tree Cottage (old Cooper Shop) present owners. Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening. 0’I>eary Cabin. present owner, Mrs. J. W. Fletcher.

Stonewall District—Stonehaven nresent owners. Mr. and Mrs. George E. Muth. Kemper Mansion House, present owners. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Jacobs.

Hawthorne District—Piedmont guest house, present owners, Mr. and Mrs. N. K. G. Tholand.

Three places have been set up in the county as headquarters for the tour, where information, maps and pamphlets may be had. These places are: Remnant Shop. Amissville: Rurke.s Store. Woodville and Estes Log Cabin. Sperrvville.

We can give you a few more details concerning the tour in next weeks paper.

The price for touring one home !«. sOcents, but for touring all of the houses it is onlv $1.50. Tea will be served at Mt. Green on Sunday and at one of the other bouses on Monday and Tuesday.

Be sure to stop by the Court House and see the old maps and documents on display there on Sundav. Monday and Tuesday, also. These should be of great interest to all of the people in this section of Virginia.
