Chiefs Win Over

Strother Brown, three run homer in the 8-inning Sunday afternoon game, enablbed the Chiefs to beat Luray ‘Tigers, 5-4.

Riley had 10 strikeouts and allowed 9 hits for the Chiefs.

Judd had 10 strikeouts and allowed 7 hits for the Tigers.

Sonny Brown drove in 2 runs in the third inning^ffter Clark drew a walk and a hit by S. Brown and Buddy Devers sacrificed the runner in scoring position. This was the first win over Luray this season.
