Newest figures on the wheat crop confirm our prediction that the post-harvest price rise should come maybe 2 to 3 months earlier than last year.
So it looks even more advisable to hold on to good quality wheat in dependable storage.
The July I forecast showed a drop of from June 1 putting total U. S. production around ft^r below last year.
Virginia production is expected to be around JOOr below last rear, with most of that drop due to a 30/r lower yield per a re this year . . . 21 bushels to the acre average against 2-7 bushels last year. Acreage is down only about 8^,'. This will be Virginia's smallest crop since 188S.
