Mr. and Mrs. Herbert W. Lehmann of Warrenton, Va. have purchased 28 acres of land with home near Amissville, from Ruby S. Cannon. The Lehmanns, who are operating a grocery business, plan to retire in the near future and make this their home.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe J. Lea have recently acquired a 20 acre tract of land on the Thornton RrWsr, near Rixeyville, Va. from Ruby S. Cannon. Mr. Lea, a government employee. Ml Warrenton plans. to build sometime in the .future and commute to work.

Auto Accident Near

Amissville

On January' 24th about 1:30 , a.m. a 1950 Chevrolet sedan, owned by Edward Lawrence o.f Anvssville, ran off the road and struck a tree 2Vz miles west of Amissville. Mr. Lawrence was admitted to Fauquier County Hospifil with face and head injuries.
