Mrs. Mat Fowlkes Anderson of Arlington, Va. died Tuesday, January 27 at Arlington Hospital.
Mrs. Anderson, a native of Burkefield, Va., was the widow of the late J. M. Anderson of Rappahannock County who owned Locust Shade Farm near Ben Venue until 1947 when he sold it to his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and M rs. A. C. Latham.
Graveside services will be held for Mrs. Anderson at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Richmond at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert Bannister of Wilmington, Del. and a son Peyton F. "Anderson of Arlington.
