Dear Folks:
Another bad gloomy day. Won’t it be nice when we can loci out the windows again and see the little daffodils peeping through the earth and hear the birds singing their sweet song of spring.
We Understand that there was one bid on the theatre, but it was not accepted. Wouldn’t it make a nice bowling alley, skating rink or better still a drug store with a. soda fountain where we could all meet for a coke and “chit-chat.”
Wade Massie, Jr. and Coyntry Jack Miller lleft. Saturday for Florida. 1 .hope they catch some big ones this time, but if thy don’t they will be by the time they get home: Bruce Critzer wrote Arthur from Florida that he had caught a sail fish that was seven feet long and weighed 220 pounds. It was too large to mount. See what I mean about “fish stories”. B.uce isn’t even home yet either.

Well after a long, long v^mon or “whatever” we may calf it, I hope by'every thing above that 1 will be back at the^paper Office on Friday, and calling you my friencb on Monday for news. Don’t begrudge us the news, if you are ever away6 from home you’ll know just how much every little word in your home town paper canmean. I know. . . I-have found out.
