Heart Fund Dance
Mrs. L. J. Kilby sponsored a dance for the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grades at the Sperryville auditorium on February 13 for the benefit of the Heart Fund. The hall was decorated with hearts and cupids by Mrs. T. M. Johnston and Mrs. L. J. Kilby, with the help of the young people, Those helping with the dance were Mrs. Ramey, Mrs. T- M. Johnston, Mrs. Downing Wood, Mrs. John Updike, Miss Hensely, -Mrs. Chris Schaefer and Mrs. S. E. Henln^ and a number of parents acted a. as chaperones.
Carolyn Johnston and David Dyne were selected the best looking couple. Maureen Jenkins and John O’Ban non were selected die best dancers.
The profit of $22.70 was donated by the young people to the Heart Fund.
