Why accept that little drink? Wouldn’t it be better to just simply refuse? Why be afraid to be called a chicken, or a coward ? Isn’t it better to be a live coward than a dead “hero” ? What possible good can a young person gain from drinking? A temporary lift? It doesn’t aid his physical fitness, rath er it harms it greatly.
I heard a friend say once “Don’t go to any place that God wouldn’t go.” I feel that if a boy respects hi* girl friend, he won’t take her any place that God would not go. I am .sure they could have more fun at a nice high school dance, rather than at a questionable jomt.”
So why not be different? Be yourself ,stand up and be an individualist. God didn’t make us all alike. He doesn’t mean for Us to wander along with xhe others, trying to be a carbon copy; but he needs and wants us to stand out f rom the crowd, to be ourselves I
