Frank Lindsey Beckwith, bom April 15 ,1885, departed this life on Thursday morning, February 19 about 8:30 ajn.
He was die »n of the late Robert and Alice Beckwith.
Mr. Beckwith spent his entire life in thiSeComrounity having joined Promise Land Baptist Church in 1903 and continued to serve in the church until the time of his illness four years ago. He was a deacon for many years.
He is survived by one sister Mrs Mildred C. Holmes of Elizabeth, N. J.; three brothers, James of Boston, Mass, and Earnest and Brown of Washington, Va. Two nieces Miss Mabel Holmes of Elizabeth, N. J. and Mrs. Alice Porter of Washihgton, Va.; three nephews, Richard Holmes of Elizabeth, N. J„ Robert Holmes of Raway, N. J. and Robert Beckwith of Culpeper, Va. Sleep on dear one Take thy rest; We loved you But God loved you best.
