Last Wednesday Mrs., rerle Coffey and her father Walter N. Rector motored to Manassas for the funeral of Mrs, Stella Stokes. Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening left Saturday for a southern trip which will include stops in South Carolina.
Among those attending the Confirmation Services at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington Sunday night were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fletcher, Mrs. W. M. Fletcher, Mrs B*JV1. Varner, Mrs. J. B. Johnson, Miss Louise O’Bannon, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Lillian Reeve am} Yatesey Schaefer. Susan Schaefer was a member of the confirmation class.
Mr. and Mfs. Gordon Payne of Madison were guests for supper Sunday night j of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer, and attended he confirmation services.
Mr. and Mrs: Harry Martin and two sons of Shepherdstown, W. Va. spent the weekend with their g;r.n'hr.cpv'r Mrs, Mary Jar- Dov'bcn rnd family.
Mrs. JameS M. Yates of Arlington who was visiting her sisters Miss Ruth Menefce and Mrs. V. M. Lewis was taken suddenly ill and removed to Georee Washington -Hospital in j D C. Sunday where she is undergoing tests and x-rays Mrs. Lewis accompanied her to the hospital and is remaining with her.:
