Funtral services "were held Saturday, March 14 at 2 p.m. from the Geest Funeral home chapel, with interment in the family cemetery at Boston. Reverend John Adams conducted the last rites. Active pallbearers were Gordon Thornhill, Ashby Thornhill, J. N. Burke, Edmond Burke, Jack Weaver and Thomas M. Lillard.
