NOTICE We; the undersigned, James W Fletcher, Chairman, fcnd Henry Clarke Secretary, of the Democratic Senatorial District for the Twenty-Fourth Senatorial District ©f Virginia, comprising the Counties of Page, Rappahannock, Rockingham, Warren, and the City of Harrisonburg, hereby certify that die foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by it at a meeting of said committee held at Luray, County, Virginia, on the 4th day of March, 1959. “Resolved that the nomination of the candidate of the Democratic Party for the office of Senator; of the Twenty-Fourth' District of Virginia, comprised of ,the Counties of Page, Rappahannock. Rockinghapi, Warren, and the City of Harrisonburg, to be voted on the general election to be held in said senatorial district on Novemr her 3, 1959, shall be by direct primary method and that a pnmary for the'nomination of said Democratic candidate for said office shall be held on July 14, 1959, pursuant to the provisions of State Primary Laws, and that all candidates for said office shai! file their declaration of candidacy with James W. Fletcher, Chairman of the Democratic Senatorial District for the Twenty-Fourth District o Virginia for the Counties of Page, a Rappahannock, Rockingham, Warren, and the City of Harrisonburg, at Sperryville, Virginia, at least 90 days before the said primary to be held on July 14, 1959, and that if not more than one candidate shall file for said positionyhe be declared the Democratic /omineq of the party for the Senate of Virginia from said Senatorial district.
