Rappahannock livestock industry is essentially beejf cattle production with sheep as a supporting enterprise.
Generali^ speaking, swine and poultry production are confined to production of feeder pigs, and production for family use.. In recent years a f«w commercial laying flocks have been established and there has been small increase m production of market hogs.
As related to our total agricultural economy, sale of livestock and poultry and their products has been a major source of Rappahannock’s income through out the
